SALMOS para la vida moderna
Illustration, Silkscreen printing, photo.

Salmos para la vida moderna
(’Psalms for modern life’) is a personal illustration project. A series of silkscreen prints that take a contemporary reinterpretation on ‘old praying saint cards’. This cards used to have an image of a saint followed by a prayer.
The idea is to bring that introspective attitude and ‘act of faith’ to closer times without the religious context: contemporary music lyrics turned into a mantra to grieve the pain and bare the bad weather with a visual pop twist.
All the photos were taken by myself. And yes, that implies a real heart. But don’t worry: it wasn’t human. ;)
